Dr. Naomi Azrieli is Chair and CEO of the Azrieli Foundation, the largest public foundation in Canada. A strategic leader, she has been bringing people and organizations together to address challenges in diverse areas – from healthcare and science to community and education – for more than two decades. She has created and launched several unique programs at the Azrieli Foundation, including the Azrieli Fellows Program, the Azrieli Science Grants, the Holocaust Survivor Memoirs Program and the Canadian Centre for Caregiving Excellence. 
 
Naomi has co-developed and established numerous initiatives with academic, research and cultural institutions across Canada and Israel. As the past-Chair of Brain Canada, she helped increase the scale, scope and support of brain research in Canada. She is also President of Canpro Investments Ltd. and the Founder and President of Omico Investments and Rafiken Social Enterprises.
 
In 2013, she was awarded France’s Legion of Honor, and in 2022, she was named an Officer of the Order of Canada. She holds a doctorate (DPhil) from the University of Oxford, a Master’s in International Affairs from Columbia University and a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and serves on the boards of several national and international scientific, academic and cultural institutions. 
 
Naomi and her sisters, Sharon and Danna, are all family caregivers.
