Julie Drury

Julie Drury is the Director General of Policy and Research at Veterans Affairs Canada, and formerly the Director of Mental Health for VAC.

Julie is responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary team of policy analysts, researchers, academics and advisors to ensure a comprehensive and strategic legislative, regulatory and policy framework to support Veteran health and well-being that is evidence-based and stakeholder-informed.

Julie has held several roles across the federal government, provincial government, and as a consultant to national and international organizations, and pan-Canadian health organizations with an emphasis on building and leading on engagement best practices, and intersectoral partnerships across policy, program and service delivery.
