Daniel Nowoselski is the Advocacy Manager (Hospice Palliative Care) for the Canadian Cancer Society, where he lobbies governments on issues related to palliative care, caregiving, mental health, and financial and employment supports for people touched by cancer. He is also the Vice-Chair of the Ontario Caregiver Coalition and co-Chair of the Research and Advocacy Committee. Before that, he spent eight years working in Ontario politics and managed and worked on a variety of political campaigns. He has an Honours BA in Public Administration and Governance from Toronto Metropolitan University, where he won the Gerda Kaegi Award for his practicum research on the EI compassionate care benefit. Most importantly, he was a caregiver for his late father, Barry.
