Catherine Zhu

Catherine Zhu is a journalist with CBC Radio Digital, reporting on current affairs, including stories related to health and caregiving. She has an immense passion for writing, building community, and amplifying the needs of those with quieter voices through storytelling.

She holds a Master of Journalism from the University of British Columbia, where she was awarded the Joseph-Armand Bombardier Canada Graduate Scholarship by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada for her research on reporting with empathy.
