Headshot of Alexis Pearson

Alexis joined the Quebec Observatory on Caregiving in 2021 as a Project Manager for Mobilization, Knowledge Transfer, and Consultation. In this role, Alexis helps to develop unifying and innovative strategies to reach and engage the Observatory‘s target audiences, as well as to mobilize cross-sector stakeholders, while promoting the exchange of experiential, practical, and scientific knowledge.

Before joining the Observatory, Alexis worked as a coordinator and research professional in the fields of homelessness, mental health, and youth. Early in her career, she also worked as a support worker with at-risk youth. These experiences made her aware of the realities faced by people with complex challenges. She is grateful to be able to continue participating in the development and promotion of initiatives aimed at aligning policies, services, and practices with the needs and realities of individuals.

Alexis is originally from Ontario. She holds a master’s degree in social work from the University of Montreal and a bachelor’s degree in communications from Concordia University.
