Care in the Media

How can journalists elevate caregiving narratives to better connect with their audiences and help turn awareness into concrete ideas that drive action? Our panelists, who have covered care and the health care systems in its many forms—will reflect on how framing narratives shapes public understanding, from emerging trends in how caregiving is presented in the media to balancing policy, work and family.  They will discuss how they center lived experience, navigate newsroom pressures, and use storytelling tools to move caregiving from the margins and into the mainstream.
