Gendered workforce: Drawing men to work in care
Monday, November 6th
3:45 – 4:35 p.m.
Care work has traditionally been seen as “women’s work,” which is reflected in Canada’s care sector and in the undervaluing of care work. This panel will explore the implications of this inequity and will also examine the experiences of care work from the perspective of male care providers, and the barriers to drawing more men into the sector.
